A Dip in the Lake

Making our way to the park for a walk.

We reached a lake at the far end of the park...

... and the water looks very inviting for a refreshing dip.

I did some sniffpedition around the lake...

... and then towards the water.

Hmmm, contemplating whether to go into the water or not.

Oh well, what the heck, a cool dip is all I need now.

Brrr... the water is cold and...

... I don't think there's any seafood snack here either.

Okay, that's enough of dipping, before my wrinkly self becomes a prune pei.

Shaking myself dry... come close at your own risk.

Ahhh, now I'm feeling so refreshed.

We spent the rest of the day chilling out at the lake...

... enjoying the serenity and reflecting on life.

Your beautiful posts often leave me feeling more serene, Hero. Thank you for sharing your serenity with us. You often have me wondering one thing, though. Do many Shar Pei like swimming? I don't think many like it as much as you do.

Ahh, nothing like a nice dip in the lake! Followed by roaching on the grass of course!

What could be better after a dip in the lake than an afternoon spent in serene contemplation?

Great swimming. I was not sure you were going in at first. I bet you didn't feel the cold water being a tough guy.
